that damn fence
Sitting on the fence, enjoying the greener grass from either side - but only from a distance. Trying to get the best of both worlds by staying in the middle and as a result, not belonging to either. Having your cake and eating it too - you end up with half an expired cake.
Strangely, in times like this, I think of Dr B and him rattling off at me at 6am in the morning to "get off that f_ing fence and take a side". Such words of wisdom. Simple, succinct and to the point. How can anyone not like him is beyond me.

nonsense
I would like to say I am done, but honestly I'm probably not. On some level I think I am, then I go to sleep and dreamland haunts me till no end. I really want to sleep, but if I get no rest, what's the point of sleeping then? Argh. Mindless rambling, how i loathe thee.

Received a text today that read "Kent is nice, and it's only an hour from Disneyland Paris from here. Not that i'd want to go there to be honest. Waste of time if you ask me."
Grumpy much? lol how i've missed grumpy! :)

charity
4Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, 5Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; 6Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; 7Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. 8Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. [1 Cor 13:4-8 (KJV)]

luton brains
CK and I trekked all the way to luton to attend some Neurology outpatient clinics at Luton and Dunstable Hospital. I had to wake up ridiculously early to catch the right train so that we wouldn't be late for clinic and it's been a while since I've had to wake up so early for school! My ageing body cannot take much more of this nonsense! I wonder how 6-16 year old me managed. Anyway, so we trekked up to luton and barged our way into Dr. G's general neurology clinic for the morning.
And... it was WORTH IT. I mean, besides the fact that we saw 20 patients and the clinic was 5.5 hours long and I kind of dozed off halfway through some patients, it was really good! We then zoomed off for a quick lunch break and headed for Dr. W's afternoon clinic, which turned out completely different from the morning, in that we only saw 2 patients and spent the rest being grilled and interrogated by Dr. W, who was a lot nicer in clinic than my past experiences and it was a very educational clinic, I really enjoyed it.
This has been the most neurology I've seen, more than the past three weeks at rfh combined and it was a long, tiring journey but worth every minute and penny. Also, having a familiar clinic-buddy was nice too. It feels different as compared to other regular firm mates, so, thanks. :)
