Today I:

-forgot to bring my oyster and had to pay £7.20 for my day travelcard
-lost my cool in school and snapped at a firm mate for being an arse
-saw litzsj. twice. :)
-played some serious super rusty badminton with random strangers
-was made to think a lot about hardship and discipline
-realised how unprepared I am if Christ were to come today

"This cream will hopefully break it. The cycle, i mean, not your thing." - G.W.

Sat in the most pointless family planning clinic ever! I was given a huge stack of leaflets on the 1001 types of contraception and was made to sit outside and read it for a good hour because they couldn't find someone for me to sit in with. They finally found someone but man did she look irritated and made me sit outside her clinic for another 30 mins. Then I went in and was quizzed till the cows came home about all the different forms of contraceptives! GAHH!! Saw two patients and the clinic over ran, which left me no time to grab dinner before the evening clinic and I had to run across TCR to get to the other clinic, late, breathless and in a mess, for a male GU clinic - whoopie.

It was my last GU clinic ever, hopefully, and I was dreading it because 1)it was a male clinic, 2)it was an evening clinic and my day started at 9am and hasn't stopped since, 3) i am just not a fan of GU clinics. When the day felt at it's utmost worst, I met the reg who was amazing! I sat in his clinic and he was really awesome with patients and really treated me (the useless female medical student) as part of his team. It was great, he was really funny and said so many things that came out sounding weird as they were all jumbled up in his head - and managed to laugh it off with the patient. He reminded me a lot of jibaobao. :) The clinic flew by and I didn't even realise it was 8 when he scooted his chair beside me, asked to sign my book and told me to go home.
