Stupidity

It's as though I have it printed across my face.

Last night I dreamt that Alvin, Chekkie, Aaron, Sue Lynn and I went to visit Shing's house in Kuching, which happened to be on the border of Thailand and Brunei. So we drove pass the border (which really was a line drawn on the ground with chalk), up to her house and called her and she happened to be out in having supper with Keith in JB but told us to ring the doorbell and go in anyway. We went in and found her maid cleaning the house so we took the car keys and drove away in her volvo. We decided that since we were new to the land, we should do some touristy stuff. We drove up to a cave and visited a bear zoo that was inside. We left Aaron there and drove off for supper at some random mamak shop that sells chicken rice balls and cendol.

pentonville

Today Kat and I finally got the chance to go to pentonville. It's something I've always wanted to do and I found the entire afternoon a brilliant experience. Right from the start, the various protocols put in place to even get into the building - safety to the max. We were showed around the whole place, and the different wings really looked very different, the ones where all the detox patients and cleaners lived was super clean and sparkly, the others were just grim and gritty. We were even locked up in a cell just so we know how it feels like. Then, we were locked up in an occupied cell with two inmates who were really friendly and kept asking us to take a seat, relax. Interesting. Probably can't say much more, but it was a real eye-opener. I really enjoyed it. As we were leaving the place, Dr. B said "come join me here for your electives!". Which really got Kat and I thinking for a good while, after a bit of discussion, we dismissed it and decided it's time for the weekend. :)
