oh man you're 18 already?! wah that's fast. my memory seems to be frozen at when you're 15!!! i think cos that was when i left. so everything is kinda just stuck there. haha i remember all the lamedays.. which sometimes seems so far away, yet sometimes seems so near. it was all once upon a time, but those good old days none can take away! (: heeee. anyhows, 18 years, big boy liao, must guai guai ok? miss you tons, and in this new year, may you walk even closer with God, becoming a MAN after God's own heart yups? take care dear! *BIGhug* (:

it has been a fruitful weekend! haha make that a snackful weekend! :D no complains! haha.. i think i have eaten goodfood for too many consecutive days. conned bao to mawar to eat goodsolidfoooooooood after pds and checking out wigmore.. the lunch was oh so shioku! haha and i had rendang in two consecutive days! one was homecooked sumore! with chilli sotong and veggie. wahhh *yums* unc james rocks lah! haha (: so yummmy! (: and we all had a good time in his house talking about everything under the sun ranging from tv shows to... twits. hurhur (:

chehkkie and mrgoh joined us for tennis. and the two of them almost got to witness spidey live in action scaling the great fences of cartwrightlousydoorgardens! but in order not to blow his cover, spidey got some commoners to open the door from outside. booo. and lousy bao ditched us for oddrey!!! its ok, i had a great dato with hotlegs (hurhur) and alisuuuuu! :D we ate in assa again. haha its like so yummy lah! everytime going there, feels like im in a different shop, cos the food all so yummy! hehe.. but found out from heffa that there are three (?) other pple who hang out there. one of which is my favourite KM! oh wells. haha.. oh and at the korean bakery beside assa, saw some very cute cakes lah! but all look like sugar nia.. but still. its so cute! but i really wonder how that bakery earns money lah..

today went for early service. was nice! bumped into abominablesnowman for the first time! haha and then hotlegs and me went to help out with children's ministry. oh man! so cute lah!!!! i wanted to just anyhow take one of them back. HAHA! ok i am a bit dangerous. but seriously so cute so cute! (: its amazing how kids can just fill your heart with joy, cos they are so innocent and just so... cute. i mean they are walking superbugs lah, with their hands touching the floor one minute, putting biscuit into mouth next minute, then holding a crayon the next. i was wondering if any of them ate the crayon accidentally -_- but im a bit of a bad influence lah, always teaching kids bad things. HAHA but i didn't teach any of them to suck thumb or make silly faces... yet. hurhur watch out! (:

HAHAHA hotlegs you have been too easy to con lately, watch out! soon you'll realise i've conned you to this deserted island with nothing but a spoonful of saliva coated gon chao ngau pepper hor. haha! (: will you eat it? hmm me wonders. (: i just realised this post is full of "hotlegs" .. piang i see you too much. not complaining! bao will just drool in envy. hurhurhur.

hurhur its been a fantastic day, cold weatherwise, yet warm on so many other levels .. and i just have this amazingly retarded smile plastered across my face, i can't even get it off. haha and i.simply.just.feel.like.smiling (((:

ok so the 9am and 4pm lectures were cancelled.. and the rest of the classes was just on the disease of my life -- diabetes. so weird, cos i rmb a conversation i had last saturday after badminton..

retarded person : "eh want to eat kinder surprise? take half lah"
theonewhorocks : "nah its alright, you zi ji chi"
retarded person : "eh eat lah, why you dun want? come take half!"
theonewhorocks : "no really.. you eat it urself!"

and to think i spent the whole of today (and possibly the rest of this module) studying diabetes.. having a lecture and a whole PBL on it.. how ironic. but the PBL was pretty much a huh? session with the few of us struggling and fighting, arguing with what little (very little) we remember from last year.. and tammo scurrying off to ask supervisors questions.. haha. but despite the huh sessions, we scrambled off for lunch. and proved the fact that, taking a bus down gower street is slower than walking (even with my woogui pace!!).. during lunch hour of course. *beams* (:

we had yummy lunch with auds, bao and chehkkie and yummy dessert that i initially declined profusely cos i don't take red bean paste.. and succumbed in the end. man that was one good tasting redbeanpastepastrythingy. haha.. thanks bao for chiaing the dessert! next time chia mainmeal please, don't so kiamsiap. hurhur! (: oh and today is like icing on the cake day! cos such good mood, good spirits.. and to top off the good day, there was icing on the cake!..

as many would have known.. it has been tried and tested that my wonderful phone coupled with my awesome hearing abilities and fabulous awareness makes it the best miss-call phone ever. only ever used to receive calls that i have missed. and so just now while walking down gower street to lunch, chehkkie whipped out of her bag --- the MO POD MONSTER! lemme show you! i was reading the BSc prospectus, and there's a fair tmr, hopefully i'll be more clear on what i wana do next year. to do BSc or not has been decided as a TO DO. so now whats left is what to do.. and i need direction T_T.. i have a clue on what i don't want to do.. but the rest.. still so many!! *pulls hair out*

and so i digress. what was the point of this post? to say that it has been a fantastic day. and truly, i thank God. for the warmth He sent on this cold winter day. for all the things, big and small, that He has placed in my life. including you reading this now! yes you! heee (:

according to da jie, today is supposed to be the most depressing day of the year. funnily enough, so many people i've heard had their 'worst day ever'. as for me, i lost the only ring i own. and this ring was a replacement for something that looked exactly the same (only in silver last time, this time blackish) that i lost as well. which makes it even worse! cos in order to prevent myself from losing it, i didn't wear it much. didn't wear it for whole of 2nd year, paranoid lah. then today i was looking at it. ok i feel like wearing it. i wore it.. and lost it. classic! scatterbrain as always. T_T what's worse is that it is a puzzle ring from fel! and now fel has like two of the same ring and i have successfully lost both! argh!! so sorry my dear, i'll bet it lasted longer than you expected! :( *box my face in* haha..

but nevertheless, despite losing the ring, it hasn't been a bad day for me. at least losing the ring kinda showed me, i'm still the same. that was totally a typical wenx stunt lah! it can only come from me.. haha. ok anyways as i was saying it was still a good day and I can only give thanks. yes the cold was blistering. i felt like my ears and hands were about to drop off, not forgetting unable to feel my lips. i felt like a fish! but still my hyperness still quite well, hyper. haha.

start of new module on endocrinology.. all about hormones.. T_T but ok lah, the cal session was quite fun somehow (prob not contentwise..), after that me bao and chehkkie rolled down to ridgmount gardens (whats new?) and stoned in the kitchen eatings lotsa rubbish before lunch. how smart! *claps* then bao disappeared for her dato with the snowman and chehkkie and me hung around, chatted and then left for lunch. smart right? we had a 3 hour break, we left lunch till the last 45 minutes and chose to go eat somewhere near centrepoint. so smart *claps* but we made it back in time. and lunch was so yummy! *beams* (: good choice!! haha..

the 2nd last lecture was alright.. i mean its kinda complicated but i still got the gist of it, just not the big picture. the last lecture was just horrendous! srai went on and on and i just totally catch no ball. he kept talking about GTAATG and ATGCCT and i duno what lah! ji dan bing! but very proud of myself for still paying attention and not talking/sleeping/eating. and the bus back was so very squeezy, and the walk back was so very cold and very very windy. sounds like a pretty bad day, but still, my spirits are so high! just feel that its been a good day. in fact it has been a great day.

(: anyhows, er jie recently introduced a site to me that could possibly ruin my feb assessments, so i decided, since im gona die, might as well drag the rest of the rummies down with me. and i intro-ed it to the rest of the lot. HAHA. if i die, you all also must die. woots! so relative to each other, it cancels out and we all don't die! *claps* i think im a genius. i really am (:

anyhows, so er jie and i made it for 9.30 service this morning. actually we more than made it, we even had time to go for mcd breakfast! woohoo! i loved the kanchiongspider 414 driver. haha yellow light also cross. red light also cross. wonder how many tickets he kena already. but im not complaining!! (: the faster you drive the more i happy. whee~ i think my england really very powderful..

and i must say the 9.30 service is fantastico! i love morning services! after going for about 2 months of 11.30, sorry i like morning services better! very.. nice. serene and tranquil (: i likes! haha peaceful and your day starts earlier too. woohoo! ok not like i did very much with the extra time, but still.. my sunday seems longer which is a good thing! (:

and so it seems that a few of us have been made to think about the same thing recently. coincidence? i doubt it really. God is so amazing! a bit freaky but like good-freaky. haha and since its been placed on our hearts, we shall put it into practice yes? yes. good stuff! woohoo! i realised i like to say that, in the same tone all the time! mere narcissism or plain coincidence? haha i think its prob just habit actually. hmm. random. anyways! has been good couple of days, even with the stupid test. haha. ok before the test on thursday i was quite sian. and couldn't sleep! so i called a variety of people. just to complain to. haha! thanks! oh oh oh what was the point of blogging? oh yah, yesterday's ocf was so funny. cos there were only 5 in my grp, and except for me, everyone went home. so there were so many interesting stories. and the thing that rocks is our grp is so small, so we can pretty much "share" about anything we want to, some topics more serious than otheres. talk about any crap, and everyone will just go along and crap. its so funny! some topics that came up were..

1) plan B of future (if not ur current course/job what would it be?) well this was a half serious topic cos 3 outta 5 of us had serious proper answers. and good reasoning and serious thinking. mine was.. everyone laughed. and boss.. everyone laughed non stop. haha!

2) huge discussion about one of us being white and fat -_-

3) tanning powder (hurhurhur)

4) all jobs are boring

5) tv shows (on siapore tv)

6) if we shd zao for dinner/supper early. erps!

7) what to eat at supper/where to go

8) job interviews/outcomes

and more.. haha can't rmb. but there were so many! we pretty much spent the whole night laughing..and not forgetting the bible study. haha.. and we still ended early and the rest zao while three of us waited for everyone else to finish before we headed down to cheeenatown for some loontaooo. haha good stuffs! and so today was a lot more productive(-ish) than i expected! had zero plans besides play tennis. and yah played tennis and everyone left to meet someone else! booo but i found a friend in the end to go for lunch with (2 in fact!.. but due to technical difficulty, only ate with one T_T) and as always rolled to ridgmount gardens and stoned in my chair haha ate oranges, ice cream, poppadoms how on earth do you spell that drank lotsa tea! she has this really cool teapot. haha everyone was amused and kept pressing the button. haha. talked crap and looked at all the funny stuff suwenbrought back. haha.. cool beans!

due to inertia. lazy to play badminton. but ended up going in the end and getting trashed by siewy. argh! but nice to play badminton, its been a long while. HAHA. and while playing badminton, had a bit of problem with my usual noisy self saying "GO! go hit the ball! come on! gogogo!" cos go ended up being a surname. argh!!! bu hao xiao!

and then came the biggest sabo of all times. T_T shall not talk about it here.. or i might get killed. hurhur but er jie im sure you enjoyed the company~ (:

didn't really feel the need to blog an obligatory wrap-up-past-year-new-hope-for-new-year post cos last year was really a rather testing year. don't really want to rethink the turmoil, rethink the two distinct points in time i was helpless on my knees doubting everything on earth. ugh. haha but i'm sure it has shaped my character and i've been moulded and emerged victorious through the trials. and one thing is for sure, God never abandoned me even though my silly human mind might think so from time to time, God's faithfulness reassured me and took a hold on me. and i know that He is real.

interesting start for the new year. so many experiences even in the short 7 hours into the year.
went to watch fireworks display. felt so claustrophobic at waterloo bridge, never felt so vulnerable in life. said a little prayer and it was answered instantaneously as a big hand took hold of me. tankewp! God is faithful. chatted till late at jil's place and walked back to euston in the drizzle that became pouring rain. soaked from head to toe! but in the rain, instead of being grumpy and wet, i felt refreshed, and felt this newfound spark in life. haha sound so corny. duno how to explain lah. just like that. haha! got back and found ourselves locked out! so we sat on the stairs as i half dozed off. got back in in the end. and after a shower, was awake. haha! so chatted with jbb till about 8 plus? then went to sleep. woke up with a call from pa and ma. haha it was a long start to the new year, but i'm sure i'll manage. not by my strength alone haha because God is faithful.
