helping out at the mrcp course has been really fun i must say. even though it starts at 8 everyday and we are basically on our feet for the whole day. really, we don't even sit during lunch time. how ridiculous is that right? but we get treated well as helpers, get good food, good teaching, good signs, basically, it's good stuff that the candidates are paying £650 for and we get free! and to add icing to the cake, we were paid! thanks man loklok. LOL. and i got to speak to mr.A!

it's funny how the part i really liked about the past three days is not the weird and wonderful textbook signs manifest in human form, which was really really awesome in itself, but more of the getting the patients to their right beds, getting them their coffees and biscuits, having random chats with them ensuring that they are comfy and well and when the madness starts, rushing to change all the sheets and putting up all the essentials before the next round of nightmare begins. lol what an unambitious person i am. i have such small non-existent dreams, it is almost ridiculous.

but i sure hope when i'm down the road and eventually taking this course before my mrcp exam (if i even get there), i'll rmb the way i feel now as a med student. it's weird, cos i see all these people who are much more senior than me in hierachy, yet some of them really don't treat the patients like human beings, that aside, even their skills and techniques seem a little incompetent for someone of their supposed standard. either that or ucl really trains you well as med students and hammers in the stuff you need to know, not only in terms of clinical skills but also like, basic courtesy.

but yea, it has been nice, i have enjoyed my last 3 days, and its not even proper academic curriculum hospital school stuff. maybe after this i'll start enjoying clinics more. actually, i dont think so. but i shall try to be an eager mcbeaver (YAR RIGHT) and press on. someone told me i'm the sort of person who'd thrive in clinics. really? you think so? doesn't look like it to me, at all.

ah wells, PRESSING ON and facing tomorrow, because He lives.
