and so i had a great three days in manchester then concord then birmingham [here's a summary of the trip, quoted from cheh's blog "spent 10 hours travelling, 10 hours sleeping, 40 hours eating, 8 hours shopping, 6 hours watching tv"] and a freezing day in nottingham "playing tennis". may update on that later, watch this space! i spent a good 5 hours talking to cheh on the bus to manchester actually due to a minor glitch, so there was just the two of us. talked about pretty much everything under the sky. about the past, about the present, about friends (are you thinking gossip? i think not actually), about spiritual life, about views on issues, about everything really. after that, kinda left me thinking about some things, marginally disturbing actually, but good to think about nevertheless. anyhows, loved the chat! thanks (:

and so tomorrow, marks the start of a new module. neuroscience and behaviour. haven't actually been receiving very encouraging comments about this topic/module/system in general from seniors of all years and ages (except er jie who thinks neuroscience is fun). isn't that just fantastic! i can barely wait till tmr when i immediately start lagging from the first day of class. hurhur. ok psyche up! sadistic as it may sound, i'm actually enjoying 2nd year work. hurhur. not the workload, but the work itself. ok should sleep soon.

called home today, had a nice long chat with ma and a ridiculously funny chat with pa. hurhur. i wana go home! :( and then somewhere in the middle got a phonecall from jbbpjk (haha looks like gibberish). and we disturbed the chickenfeet outta IT, bombarding IT with nonsense. what i learnt from the conversation - i am the smartest person in the world. hurhur. lack of sleep caused my eating powers to go down, cheez benefitted the most from that. booooo. ok go sleep, recharge. byebyebye!
