woohoo! today was great! haha awsome great fun! i mean ok, the placement was kinda redundant. ok it was at King's Cross (yay!!) so quite near, haha so i took 18 right to euston (supposedly) but got off at euston square so i didn't have to walk, and could just take the 73 right from that bus stop, but the stupid 73 kinda got stuck at Euston for 15 minutes which made me about 5 minutes late in the end when i could have walked (lazy -_-) and be 5 minutes early! but anyways, when i got there, there were two more students who didn't come and the person we were supposed to report to wasn't even there yet! we were supposed to report at like 9.30, but she only got there at 10! so i was late, yet not late! haha :) so like she brought the 8 of us into a room, and gave us a brief guide about Age Concern and what they do, then at about 10.20, she asked us to go into individual rooms as pairs and wait while she brings and old person to talk to us!
it was really nice in a sense, i mean we were supposed to talk about eating habits and dietary patterns etc.. but we didn't even get to talk about that! haha she was so excited telling us about how she learnt how to use the internet and stuffs about the computer, and how she uses the internet to trace her ancestry (!!) haha.. which was really exciting, i don't think i'll be able to do that honestly. and how she managed to trace till her great great great great great (you get the idea) grandfather who was some convict who got sent off to australia in 1813. HAHA~! when we heard 1813 zack and i were like what?! 18++?? haha.. so it was quite funny :) ok like at 10.45, all the other groups were done, so we just wrapped up without even talking about food. haha alamak! oh wells, so like we sat around, and the person in charge wasn't even there, so we decided ok. let's zao! haha -_- siao liao~ one hour placement! haha.. ok lah we met her in the end and she told us to go off anyway. i was done by 11!!! -_-
ok so i went down to hampstead for crepes with bao and chehkkie! haha nice had my hazelnut cream crunch, only today i forgot to say "no cream please.." so i had hazelnut CREAM crunch. haha shiok also, just a bit too CREAMy. duh! haha nice nice! can't imagine pds next year with NO crepe to look forward to.. *sigh* think positive. out of hampstead~ no more dodgy bus stops! haha.. after that i hopped on the 46 and went back, dug around for stuff, changed, packed my bag and before i knew it, i was off on the 18 back to euston for SQUASH (ahem, bao, purple for your viewing pleasure) .which was fantastic! the woman was so nice! she zi dong give us residence price. haha :) come on cartwright gardens!
ok so we kinda conned her money AND time, considering how we played for like almost two hours.. biasa, but still. haha if it was the french woman we'll totally die. :P squash was shiokness compacted into that claustraphobic (spelling?!) room. haha.. ok.. so i thought, if the 18 comes first, i'll go back, if i see the 27 first, i'll go bayswater and get BenAndJerry's ice cream.. and then i saw the 18, followed closely by a 27, torn for choice, i went up the 18 and sat down. then this man sat beside me, so near baker street i was still deciding, BNJ? NO BNJ? so i thought, ok if this guy gets off at baker street, i'll get off too and get on the 27, so he GOT OFF! so taddaaaa! clever wenx now has lotsa nice ice cream! ok i bought phishfood for da jie to eat, and cookie dough for er jie, but since er jie is kinda diarrhoea-ing, i ate her cookiedough (bwahaha!)..
came back, watched friends and smallville. ok i never really watched smallville before, but been watching quite a bit since they show it after friends, i mean i get quite lost at points cos i dun even know the full story. ok what do i know? clark is pre-superman stage, his ex is lana who is this witch descendent thingy? Lois is a family friend or something (but i know later on the "old" superman series, it's called Lois and Clark, so i guess they kinda get married and he forgets lana..) and ARGH! but it's nice anyway haha shiok. :)
all in all, shiok. HAHA! tmr tentatively pizzahut buffet for lunch. aiks! haha.. brighton no brighton? argh!!! ok chill. peace. breathe breathe! :)
